Magic Inkjet Media

Magic inkjet media features innovative materials that can help you expand the range of graphics you can produce with your wide-format inkjet printer. Magic-brand materials are widely used for signs, promotional graphics, photographic displays, and art publishing.

The first Magic inkjet media products were introduced in 1993 and used with the earliest generations of 4-color wide-format inkjet printers. Entrepreneurial photo labs and printing firms used Magic inkjet media to begin marketing affordable short runs of full-color, photorealistic posters, displays, signs, and art prints. When these pioneering large-format graphics producers started asking suppliers for materials that could withstand specific production and display conditions, the coating scientists behind Magic inkjet media delivered solutions.

When graphics printing expanded beyond aqueous inks, the Magic R&D teams developed new products to produce photorealistic prints with eco-solvent, solvent, latex and UV curable inks.

Today, Magic inkjet media is manufactured in Europe and the U.S. by Coveris Advanced Coatings, a global leader in developing precision coated papers.

Freedom Paper proudly carries a selection of Magic products, mostly for printers that use aqueous inks. For advice on which material would be ideal for your printing environment, give us a call. We are happy to help!
