Poster Paper

Freedom Paper offers many types of poster printer paper because posters are used so many different ways. Wide format posters can be used for: simple, temporary indoor and outdoor signs; retail displays; classroom projects; church functions; event promotions; advertising, safety, information, or motivational messages; and charts and infographics. Some of our customers use wide format poster paper rolls to print and sell lower-cost reproductions of popular photographs, graphic designs, and artwork. View More

Poster printer paper is thicker and more durable than everyday inkjet bond papers, because posters are specifically intended to be mounted on a wall or other vertical surface to deliver a message or add personality to a room. Poster prints must be easy to handle, remain flat, and hide mounting tapes and flaws in the wall or mounting surface. Many inkjet poster papers are supplied with a peel-and-stick adhesive backing. “Blueback” or “blockout papers” enable you to post a new graphic directly over a older one, without any risk that the old graphic will show through. At Freedom Paper, you can find a variety of materials suitable for making posters, including heavyweight papers, economical photo and art papers, tear-resistant polypropylene film, and self-adhesive fabrics from Sihl, Magic, Kodak, Canon, and HP. We created our own Freedom Paper brand wide format poster paper rolls to provide an economical option for some of the most popular types of poster printer paper.

Choose a more durable wide format poster paper roll if you plan to sell decorative photo or at prints that will be viewed up-close for a number of years. Use a more economical poster paper for short-term simple text-based posters or graphic signs that will be viewed from more than 10 or 20 feet away.
