Poster printer paper is thicker and more durable than everyday inkjet bond papers, because posters are specifically intended to be mounted on a wall or other vertical surface to deliver a message or add personality to a room. Poster prints must be easy to handle, remain flat, and hide mounting tapes and flaws in the wall or mounting surface. Many inkjet poster papers are supplied with a peel-and-stick adhesive backing. “Blueback” or “blockout papers” enable you to post a new graphic directly over a older one, without any risk that the old graphic will show through.
