The five colors of Lucia TD pigment ink produce vivid colors on plain paper and coated paper. And because pigment inks provide better water-resistance than dye ink, prints can last up to six months outdoors. No lamination is required when using Canon's weather-resistant media. The TA printers ship with six cartridges containing a total of 330 ml of ink. This includes four 55 ml tanks of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, and two 55 ml tanks of Matte Black ink. The Matte Black inks produce dense blacks and resist bleeding for accurate reproduction of technical documents.
Handles cut-sheet media as well as longer rolls of media up to 5.9 inches in diameter. Print on a variety of media including: plain, coated, and synthetic papers; photo and art papers; gift wrap; self-adhesive fabric and vinyl, banner materials; and more.
Can print up to 113 A1-sized prints per hour.
Built-in suction fan keeps paper flat on the printer platen to prevent paper from bending or skewing. It also maintains a consistent distance between the printhead and paper throughout the printing process. This enables precise ink placement for consistent print quality.
Minimal noise from media feeding, platen fan operation, and cutter means fewer workplace distractions.
Features for communication, data management, interface security help prevent leaks of confidential information.

Reduce trimming time by making borderless prints on all widths of roll media. Use standard or custom sizes for borderless prints.
Canon's six-channel PF-06 thermal inkjet printhead was engineered to work with the printer's high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection to facilitate fast printing. Nozzle orifice minimizes mist spray and produces clean lines and text. High-precision, high-density printhead has 15,360 nozzles and lays down tiny, 5-picoliter-sized droplets. The result is 2400 x 1200 dpi output (max) with fine lines that are accurate to 0.10% and thin as 0.02 mm.
This feature eliminates the need to replace an empty ink tank in the middle of a print job. Save money on ink by using all ink in each tank.
Upload files created in your office for printing at another location. Create drag-and-drop folders for commonly used upload-and-print workflows.
